WWE 2K25 Bloodline Edition features modern members of the Bloodline family, including Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, The Rock, and Yokozuna. The Wiseman Paul Heyman narrated the story, emphasizing the Bloodline and the extended Anoa’i family.
WWE 2K25 is coming out of the gate swinging, featuring numerous new features and upgrades that are atypical of an annualized franchise. The WWE superstar Roman Reigns has made the top on the cover of WWE 2K25. Especially the 2k25 players will enjoy a Bloodline showcase, new match types, and gameplay features. It also has a new feature called The Island and a plethora of upgrades across all game modes.
WWE 2K25 Bloodline Edition Showcase
WWE 2K25 Bloodline Edition features major active wrestling members of Blood like Reigns and Jacob Fatu, supported by legendary figures like The Rock and Yokozuna. Not only will players be able to relieve their most iconic matches, but there is a “what if” element to the showcase that lets players change their match-up outcomes.
In other words, it sounds like there’s a what-if scenario where The Rock potentially faces off with Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 40 instead of Cody Rhodes, although it is not confirmed yet.
New Match Types and Gameplay
WWE 2K25 new match types include the following:
- Underground Matches
- Bloodline Rules Match Type
- Intergender Match Types
- New Barricade Diving
- A roster of 300 Superstars
- Chain Wrestling’s return
- Third-person camera support in online matches (the ability for each player to have their camera)
- New brawl environments such as the WWE Archives and NXT Parking Lots.
WWE 2K25’s New Feature: The Island
This game will introduce the New feature, The Island in the 2k25 version. It is an interactive, online WWE-themed shared world that offers an immersive experience, and while it is online, players can fight this as a single-player experience if they wish to.
The ultimate focus is to earn your place at the table, earning a WWE contract and impressing Roman Reigns. Players should complete quests, take on challenges, compete in events, earn unlockables, and upgrade custom superstars through story chapters.
When Will WWE 2k25 Come Out?
WWE 2K25 will come out officially on March 14, 2025, with early access to some players purchasing some editions. It will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S consoles at launch.
So far, only digital editions are confirmed, physical editions may follow shortly. You can also get a copy of WWE 2K24 while purchasing any edition of 2k25. The Standard Edition is the most basic version of WWE 2K25 and it’s the lowest-priced. It’ll cost USD 69.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, but just $59.99 on PC via Steam. Its cover art features WWE 2K25’s primary cover star Roman Reigns.
