Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell welcome their new baby through the incredible surrogate mother. They announced it on Friday, January 31 through the Instagram handle. The sweet couple are now mom and dad to Tave Jane McDowell.
Through the Instagram handle, Collins wrote, ” Welcome to the center of our world, Tove Jane McDowell,” in a joint Instagram announcement shared with her husband. The new mom also shared a photo of the baby girl, lying bundled in a bassinet. The couple also expressed their gratitude for Lily Collins’s surrogate mother and everyone who helped them along the way. They also wished saying “We love you to the moon and back again,” the caption continued.
The couple tied the knot in September 2021, the Barcelona star revealed on Instagram.
“I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife,” she captioned a photo of the couple kissing at the altar. “On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other’s forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell…”
McDowell also shared the news on Instagram writing, “I married the most generous, thoughtful, and beautiful person I’ve ever known. I love you @lilyjcollins.”
“I’m so excited to be your WIFEY,” Collins commented on his post.
She announced their engagement in September 2020 on Instagram. “I’ve been waiting my lifetime for you and I can’t wait to spend our lifetime together…” she captioned two photos from the proposal.
Collins’s engagement ring— a rose-cut diamond with a bezel setting and thin gold band — is one of a kind, according to a representative for Irene Neuwirth, who created the piece. Following their newborn baby, Charlie McDowell also replied to queries on why Lily Collins have a surrogate, saying,“In regards to the unkind messages about surrogacy and our path to having a baby — it’s OK to not be an expert on surrogacy.”
