Project Zero – Price and what we know about it

Project zero, announced on 19th December 2019, is a cafe racer inspired bike with impressive specs and jaw dropping design.It is designed by yatri design studio consisting a team of 7 members including 4 engineers.The company claims that this bike can run 230 km in a single charge of 30 kw battery capacity. The motor churns out 40 hp according to the company.

The parts alongside the bike itself have been designed here in Nepal ,according to Ashim Pandey ,the founder of the company.The spare parts however have been produced and finished abroad because of the cost of construction of industrial plants here in Nepal.

According to Pandey the bike is designed with a lot of research on Nepali roads and conditions. The bike is lightweight and safe, considering the chasis is made of carbon fiber rather than metal.

Yatri Design Studio will produce fifty motorcycles in the first phase. The company has not made its price public yet as many factors such as customs fee have got policy issues yet to be resolved. According to Pandey, the pricing will be made attractive as the bike is designed here in Nepal. However the fact that the parts are produced abroad is sure to affect pricing of the  bike.

Saurabh Jyoti, director of Jyoti Group, has booked the first electric motorcycle ‘Yatri’ made in Nepal. Jyoti, who was present at the event, announced that he would purchase the first motorcycle released by the company.
