Review
I got my hand in the i7-8750H variant of the Legion Y730. It had 16 GB of RAM 128 GB of NVME SSD. It was one of the best laptops I have recently used. The computer is compelling and can run games very well.
I tried playing GTA V, FIFA 19 and CS: GO in high setting and the games performed very well. I was getting very good framerates. I also tried PUBG, and it ran well on medium setting.
It can also handle video editing, and you can easily edit 4K video in this beast. Legion Y730 is premium, and like other gaming laptops, it is not that bulky or heavy. Besides, it also doesn’t get that hot and cooling system works very well. The Laptop also has an RGB keyboard which is very cool, and Corsair helped in developing it, and you can edit the RGB lighting very easily as the laptop comes with the Corsair app.
The only thing I didn’t like about this laptop- it is still using GTX1050ti, which is a bit of disappointing. Therefore, It is not that future proof, and other laptops like MSI are providing GTX 1060 in the same price range. However, Legion Y730 supports Thunderbolt 3, and you can use external GPU.

The Final Words
Legion Y730 is well designed and robust. However, the GPU is the bottleneck for this laptop, GTX 1050ti in 2019 is little outdated. But if you want to edit video and want to play games in a medium setting, the computer can work very well.
